FitnessTrack is a personal logging tool, not medical advice. Nutrition values, strength estimates, recovery indicators and activity-calorie estimates can be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not use the app for emergencies or as a substitute for a qualified health professional.
Information stored
If you request an account, the site stores the name, email address, tracking preference, optional message, request status, adult confirmation, privacy version, consent time and technical information used to prevent abuse and document consent. For approved accounts, it stores the agreement versions, acceptance time, IP address and browser information, preferences such as units and timezone, and entries you choose to add. Those entries may include foods, saved quick-entry combinations, recipes, barcode numbers and package-label values, meal notes, hydration, activities, workout sets, recently removed sets retained for Undo, body weight, waist measurements, goal-plan inputs, accepted target or progression adjustments and daily check-in details such as sleep, energy, mood and digestion.
How it is used
The app uses this information to authenticate you, maintain your log, calculate on-screen totals and show progress over time. If you choose calculated goal targets, age, height, current weight, an equation-sex selection and activity category are used to create a starting estimate. Multi-week nutrition and weight trends may generate a clearly labelled suggestion, but FitnessTrack does not change a target without your approval. Completed sets, repetitions, load, RPE and recent check-ins may generate an optional next-workout suggestion. It is rules-based, displays its reason and is never applied without your approval. A site administrator can access the hosting account and database and may therefore be able to access account data.
Food and barcode review
A barcode identifies a product but does not contain its nutrition values. Products entered from a package remain private and unverified until an administrator reviews them. If approved for the shared catalogue, the product name, brand, barcode, serving and nutrition values become searchable by other account holders. Do not enter personal information in product fields.
Sharing
The Share page creates text only when you open it. FitnessTrack does not send that text automatically. You decide whether and where to copy it. Avoid sharing sensitive information with services or people you do not trust.
Retention and deletion
Account requests and account information remain in the site database until removed under the administrator’s backup and retention practices. Approved users can record an account-deletion request in Profile. Because deletion is performed by the administrator, confirm their timing and backup policy directly with them.
Your controls
- Correct or delete individual nutrition and activity entries.
- Download a JSON copy of your account and logs while signed in.
- Change tracking, unit and display preferences in Profile.
- Request account deletion from Profile.
Security
Use a private email account, keep your email secure and sign out on shared devices. This version uses one-time sign-in codes, server-side sessions, request validation and encrypted HTTPS when the host is configured correctly.
Consent and changes
Account holders are asked to provide separate, affirmative acceptance of the Terms of Use, activity-risk document and this Privacy Notice. Material changes are identified with a new version and may require renewed acceptance.
